Our Team
Steve Schmitz, President – Steve has been a realtor and real estate broker for over 20 years. His experience in working with housing investments and rental properties has allowed him to see a multitude of obstacles that many people face in their lives. Steve often thinks about possible solutions to lift others into better living situations. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball and has been a lifelong sports enthusiast which he has shared with two sons who play baseball and basketball.
Heidi Stulberg, Coordinator – I have worked in fundraising and development for over 15 years where I've managed research grants at the University of Minnesota, written grants for the Metropolitan Boys Choir and served with AmeriCorps creating literacy programs for kids. At Lift, I provide administrative and technical support and enjoy being part of an organization that helps people improve their lives because it expands the choices they will be able to make for their future.
